The designated Prime Minister Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu and the members of his party cabinet received the vote for investiture on the part of   the senators and deputies in the plenum of the legislative.

Ungureanu’s government received on the part of  the senators and deputies convened in plenum 237 votes for and 2 against. The vote was a secret one, with balls.

The 237 votes were enough. The necessary minimum to pass was of 232.

The meeting’s chairman, Vasile Blaga, announced that the official report with the result of the vote was sent to the Official Gazette.

The decision of the parliament, signed by the two chairmen of the two Chambers, will be given immediately, according to the governing rules, to the Romania’s President for proceeding to the naming of the government.

The oath ceremony on investiture of Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu’s party cabinet will take place on Thursday, at 18:00 o’clock, at Cotroceni Palace.

The designated Prime Minister, Mihai-Răzvan Ungureanu, asked to the parliament the investiture vote for the new government, however, pointing out that he cannot pledge unrealistic promises and he can take into account only a “prudent” increase of the wages and pensions, if the economical situation allows this.

He shows he is going to concentrate on the economical stability assurance and the observance of the commitments that Romania assumed along the International Monetary Fund, European Commission and The World Bank.

“I propose a pragmatic, honest and modern way of governing, in which each citizen can find himself. I do not come in difficult times to give unrealistic promises”, said Ungureanu.

Included measures in the governing program of Ungureanu’s party cabinet

A national plan for jobs, the charge of the huge fortunes and measures for the transparent financing of the parties and the electoral campaigns enumerate among the objectives of the governing program.

In the governing project of Ungureanu’s party cabinet it is spoken of an eventual increase of the salaries in the budgetary domain and pensions, simultaneously with the reduction of costs in the public administration and it is provided also the unlock of the jobs in the health system.

It is taken into account also the diminution of the administrative and fiscal weight for the business environment and the facilitation of the Small and Medium Enterprises access for financing.

According to the provisions in the chapter “Agriculture and Rural Development”, Romania proposes to draw until October, 2012 approximately 43% from the European funds placed at its disposal.

The designated Prime Minister said that he would observe the assumed commitments with International Monetary Fund, The World Bank and European Union.

As fiscal budgetary political elements, Mihai Răzvan Ungureanu declared that he makes allowance for the maintenance of the budgetary deficit no more than 3% from the Gross Domestic Product in 2012, the adoption of a responsible salary politics in the public system, the gradual replacement of the budgetary subventions given to the agricultural system, with EU funds and the introduction of a new EU regulation, which permits the temporal reduction with ten points  percentage of the share of funding.

He also proposes the assurance of a four percentages level standard from Gross Domestic Product in 2012 from the capital expenses, corresponding to the investment of EU fund, inclusively external loans.

The designated Prime Minister mentioned the care of the government for the prudent increase of the salaries from the public domain and pensions, provided that the economical conditions allow this.

The government has the stimulation of the economical growth and creation of new jobs in view, through the impulsion of the investment, among other things, by the absorption of the European funds.

An important aspect, especially for the minorities, refers to the creation of the legal arrangement regarding the extension of using the mother tongue in relations with the decentralized public services.

On external plan, Ungureanu’s government proposes the consolidation of the Romanian profile in NATO and in the European Union and the maintenance of the engagement in the fight against terrorism, through the carrying on of the participation to the operations in Afghanistan.

“I want also to say, Mr. designated Prime Minister, that I am glad for you that you did not accept former ministers in the government, who represented not only for us, for the opposition, but also for the Romanian society, names and persons in all respects undesirable. “You will have the political support , at European level, towards the reluctant people manifested  by our partners or by some countries from European Union, the Co-operation and Examination Mechanism. We want the removal of the Co-operation and Examination Mechanism”, he added.
